Powered Sugar with Silica
This powered sugar does not contain any starch (gluten) usually found in ALL powered sugar and added to avoid lumping. Our powered sugar contains silica as an anti-caking agent and replacement of starch therefore eliminating the gluten found in the rest of the production.
Note about Silica:
Silica or Silicon Dioxide is a common additive in food production. Used primarily as a flow agent in powdered foods, or to absorb water in hygroscopic applications. It is found naturally in vegetables such as cucumber. The silica in cucumber is an essential component of healthy connective tissues, which includes muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and bone.<
