Pillivuyt cookware is internationally known for its exceptionally even heat conditions, as well as its versatility and durability. Because all Pillivuyt pieces have such a hard glaze, they are also very easy to clean. Baked-on food can be removed easily with a short soak or gentle scrubbing, earning it the title of "the original non-stick cookware."

The large roasters and bakers among Pillivuyt cookware are generally produced by compression or Òpressure moldingÓ. This ensures a very dense and tough porcelain base. Each piece must be removed from the machine by hand and will then be glazed and fired at around 2500¼F.

Every piece of Pillivuyt porcelain is oven, microwave, and dishwasher-safe.
