The Madeleine is a traditional French sweet, heightened to celebrity by writer Marcel Proust. Distinguished by its shell-like shape and delicate cake-like texture, it is a staple of eternal youth.
The quintessential French sweet, the classic Madeleine is a balance of buttery decadence and crumbly texture. A perfect complement to afternoon tea or a back-from-school snack, adults and children alike will be transported to Paris with each bite.
Each Madeleine measures about 3" and weighs about 1 oz. The bag will keep them fresh and moist for about a week.
