Pastry Chefs Florian Bellanger, and Ludovic Augendre, both formerly of Fauchon in New York City have concocted the outstanding creations offered on this page. The Madeleine is a traditional French sweet, heightened to celebrity by writer Marcel Proust. Distinguished by its shell-like shape and delicate cake-like texture, it is a staple of eternal youth.

The quintessential French sweet, the classic Madeleine is a balance of buttery decadence and crumbly texture. A perfect complement to afternoon tea or a back-from-school snack, adults and children alike will be transported to Paris with each bite.

This large gift box - 10" in diameter - contains 28 madeleines: 7 plain butter, 7 pistachio topped with pistachio nuts, 7 hazelnut flavored with hazelnuts, and 7 chocolate topped with cocoa nibs. Each Madeleine measures about 3" and weighs about 1 oz. each. Kept in the tin they will keep fresh and moist for a week.

These madeleines are hand-made in small batches and only with the freshest ingredients. They contain no preservatives or chemicals. These madeleines contain milk based products and nuts.
