The Sevruga Sturgeon( Acipenser stallatus) is smaller than its Beluga and Osetra counterparts. Trim, it is also easily recognizable by its upward pointed snout. The diamond-shaped exoskeletal plates are the most distinctive on this sturgeon family member. The Sevruga maximum length is 5 feet and rarely weighs more than 55 lbs.
