Grand Cru du Terroir: Alpaco - 100% Pure Ecuador Ecuador is a major cocoa producing country, with a golden triangle formed by the village of Vinces, Quevedo, and Babaoio, where several time honored plantations cultivate the traditional local variety, Nacional, better known under the name of the cacao Arriba. This is where most of the Alpaco blend comes from. With this Ecuadorian Grand Cru de Terroir, Valrhona offers a chocolate that combines strength and refinement. Delicate floral aromas (jasmine, orange flower) are melted into the very chocolate notes that give it its smooth force. Ingredients: Cocoa beans from the Ecuador, sugar, cocoa butter, natural vanilla extract. Emulsifier: soy lecithin. This product may contain traces of nuts, milk and egg proteins, gluten and peanut.
Valrhona feves are easier to melt than bars -- does not require breaking and/or chopping -- Each feve weighs 3gr making it easy to weigh without a scale -- 19 feves equals 2 oz.
